Question: Classic Rock spinoff thread #1 - what bands are you most tired of?

My statement stands. Well, opinion, actually.

Music is an individual thing. I try not to step on other's tastes. Anyone who loves music is cool in my book. However, I despise those cork-sniffing elitests who are trying to hide their inferiority complexes with look-down-their-noses comments.

I guess I dont listen to enough radio. I normally would only listen in the car anyway and on the way home at that. My current job only has me in the car for 5 minutes or so and before that, I would switch between a few stations, one of which is the local classic rock. So I'm really not tired of any of them. Some go stale for me for a while but after a break, I like hearing them again. I am more of a southern rock kind of guy. I will say that I am more likely to skip past an Eagles song on my ipod or Pandora than most anyone else. Maybe that means I'm tired of them or their stuff doesnt excite me enough to listen to an entire song.

At home it is almost always Pandora. Greatest invention since the DVR.

And I still like Skynyrd.
 
This is too easy... especially in the Boston radio market. I think that the idea of overplaying the ever loving shit out of a song originated here.

Anything by U2. If I hear ''Sweetest Thing'' once more, I'll puke.
'' All Right Now'' by FREE. Can we please demand to hear Paul Rodgers being shot instead? I think Freddie would roll over in his grave if he knew PR has gotten his old gig.

Georgia Sattelites .. ''Keep your Hands to Yourself'' .... how this got into classic rock rotation I'll never know.
Anything by the Police.... ''Every Breath'' was very much overplayed in the 80's.... must we make our ears bleed again?

agree with those two, though Ive never liked U2 at all anyway so Im not really sick of them

as for free Id rather just hear some of the other awesome songs they have to their name, criminally underrated band.

I dont think Im really sick of any bands as a whole, just certain songs that seem to be the only one played despite many having really good and extensive catalogues. thin lizzy are another good example, never hear anything but boys are back in town and whiskey in the jar.
