There are days when they comprise the bulk of the "What's New?" Or "Jack's Place" feed. You have to scroll past so many of them, it's easy to miss a thread with an actual topic.

I think it's kinda fucked up and grandiose to shit on the guy who thinks they're over played to the overall detriment of the forum. How fucked is that? Seriously.

Being a silly jackass once in a while is cool, and good fun, but doubling down on the jackass part to shit on someone is fucking Bush League.

Let's look at it from a business perspective (Since this forum represents a real business, and is funded by said business).

How many first time visitors would you want to log in with interest in joining the community and maybe even invest in the business by signing up for lessons etc, to have that first visit turn into their last because all they see is stupid parody thread bullshit?

It may have never happened, maybe it never will, but who would be the real asshole if it were to happen? Would it be the guy who expressed his dislike for the rampant use of them, or the guy who can't resist posting them relentlessly?

actually Fiskars is what I have in both pruner and loper. Both are like 10 years old and going strong. The lopers I have cut braches in the 3 inch diameter range. Fiskers are good!
