I can’t recommend the Rev Airwave enough. I probably play electric 12 as much as I play a trad electric anymore for lead lines/countermelodies/embellishments and it’s by far and away the least unruly electric 12 I’ve played. With the P90s and the controls you can get all the typical electric 12 sounds—though the Ric low strings on top courses does make for a slightly different sound.

I was seriously considering the Rev baritone but it didn’t make a ton of sense as a thing I’d be sure to use since I tend to play bass higher up right in the zone where I’d be fighting for frequencies.

The IRS has a site where you can look up when yours is scheduled. I think ours is scheduled for sometime this week. It’s a big cluster because this stimulus is overlapping with tax season.

Ours never showed up on the site and then one day last week it magically appeared in our checking account.

If I could get my hands on a Nash to try I would. I aways say Suhr because thats what I'm familiar with but it doesn't matter what brand if it gets the job done.

I'm most likely going to go UA for my next interface. The seem to sound really good and I think you get access to all of their software plugins, too.

Let us know about the audio interface hunt. I need to upgrade my little L6 UX2 eventually.

We have a one in/one out scheme for guitars here at my house and being dinks with a fairly decent financial cushion, I can get a guitar whenever I feel like jacking around with selling and acquiring stuff. I have come to hate guitar shopping so it’s pretty stressful to go down the rabbit hole. I’m pretty happy with most of my gear at the moment. I like the playability but not the tones I’m getting out of my G&L right now. I’m probably gonna get a new pickup soon, but might blow it all up and convert it to an Esquire.

Not sure I am quite there yet, though I probably should be there soon. I have one guitar I have not been using much in the last several years, my original electric, the SSS strat. 60th Anniversary Std. Model. It is a nice guitar, and it does have some nice sounds. But I just have not been using it. But I also don’t really want to get rid of it.

Though, I am getting to the point that most areas of sound are covered and I could then go to a one in, one out model. I still kinda lust for a set neck HH, but I have my Hagstrom, and it kinda covers that. Not sure if I am in love with the Hagstrom pickups though. May think about new ones someday.

I just looked again this morning, and found a thing on the IRS site under my account that it is scheduled to show up on the 31st. That won’t go for toys, as I have been away from work quite a bit dealing with my Mom so we will need that for grown up stuff.
