Your favorite movie.

Miller's Crossing.

Just note that my favorite movie isn't the one that I think is best, nor the one I watch the most, nor is it the one that I'd take with me to a desert island, in all likelihood.
 
Apocalypse Now. The original, 1979 version. I could watch it a thousand times and never tire of it. Great fucking movie.
 
The Godfather.

Its a pretty easy choice for me, and there might be a movie i haven't seen yet that could take its place, but if there is i have yet to see it.

Goodfellas. As much as I want to say Star Wars/ESB, I cant. Darth Vader is my favorite character of all time, but plain favorite movie, I have to go with Goodfellas.
 
...I cant pick one...its a fair split between Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, Rushmore, and The Best Years of Our Lives...
 
I can't believe I'm about to write this, but Kerouac is EXACTLY right.


I love The Empire Strikes Back above all others.


But, Like Flamencology wrote... My favorite and what I consider to be "The Best" are not the same.
 
Anticipation of sharing them with my kids aside, I don't think I'd feel like I was missing out if I never saw any of the Star Wars movies again. Mind you, I watched the OT many times in my childhood and adolescence.

I have to agree. Frankly, they just don't do much for me. But then again, I am a trekkie. >.>
