Ever since I saw Joe Perry on the cover of Guitar Player magazine back in '79-'80 with a BC Rich, I've wanted one of these:

Here's a REALLY old pic.... this was when we first moved into our house, I hadn't even joined any web forums yet.

That baritone ovation was one of the first guitars I ever sold on ebay.... I made a tidy profit on that one. :tongue:

Actually, I forgot I owned it.... I didn't own it for very long... maybe a summer.


What you see there was all the guitars I owned at the time (except for the carvin that was covered in different colors of paint with no hardware, stuffed in a closet. I had a blue charvel with a single humbucker, but I had the accident where the trem got ripped out of the face of the guitar.


The "Mockingbird" was a Warmoth body with a custom ESP neck I had made before the George Lynch signature model was on the market. It had the reverse headstock, 1 3/4 nut width, super jumbo frets, but I had it made with an ebony board and no inlays. I wish I wouldn't have sold that neck (nostalgia).

Mockingbird and Eagle, followed distantly by a Bich, but only the 10 string with all the fancy switching.
