Who's going to see Harry Potter tonight?

Not me. I've seen all the others in the theater, and I may end up seeing this one too, but it won't be tonight.

I might just wait for it to hit Netflix instead.

I'm beyond pumped. I've taught a lot of my student's Hedwig's Theme and whenever I hear it in a commercial for the trailr I get little goosebumps. :embarrassed: This is going to be so dark and AWESOME. I'm really hoping that it pushes the threshold of what PG is, especially because a lot of the original fans of the books are much older now.
 
My kids are pissed at the PG rating. Their take is that there is no way they can stay very true to the book at a PG rating, but they will go anyway. Just not tonight....

it seems to me that when I was a kid, PG movies pushed the boundaries a bit more. i watched The Sandlot the other day and there are plenty of shit's and damns and that was a PG movie! This is purely speculation, but I bet this will push what's normally allowed a little bit. I bet the MPAA would be more lenient with a movie that will pull in this much cash. :embarrassed:

Tomorrow I'm really hoping. I was very disappointed with the last one, but I hope they are getting back to form. The first 3 were very good and faithful to the books(mostly). But honestly I'm really just watching for Emma Watson:love::embarrassed:
 
My wife and oldest kid arre going tomorrow. I have no eal interest and have only seen the first movie, which I thought was ok.

I'm 26. But it does freak me out a bit that my first date as a newly single guy in my freshmen year at college was to see the FIRST Harry Potter movie and 8 years later I'm thinking she's hot. :HB:
