I learned to play with a pick, but realized that over the years I have gravitated to playing with my fingers 95% of the time. I am not a deft fingerpicker (lefty playing righty, so strictly thumb and forefinger) but it just seems I can express myself better withut a piece of plastic between me and the strings.
 
I am another lefty playing righty, and these days I play without a pick probably 95% of the time too. I like travis-picking, but when I'm just strumming or playing single-note lines I'll hold my forefinger and thumb together like I'm holding an invisible pick, and make contact with my forefinger. Having said that, I was playing with a pick earlier this evening (.86mm Dunlop Jazz III)
 
Oh, forgot to mention: when I do use a pick, I tend to use one of the rounded corners, rather than the pointy tip.
 
I cut my picking thumb nearly clean off on a band saw a few years ago--it's still there, but I can't feel much. Even before that, my thumbnail had a weird curve to it that made finger picking really unpredictable. I always use a pick now, but can hybrid pick with my middle and ring fingers.

Though I'm still trying to figure my picking motion, the way I hold the pick and the way I place my arm on the guitar (and strap length).
For some reason picking single notes on the low E string is considerably harder for me so I'm try to practice more on that.
 
Pick and fingers for poprockdiscowhatedver. But I play lots of classical stuff w/traditional technique. I never could get used to a thumbpick though
 
Bit of everything. Flatpicking, fingerstyle (with and without thumbpicks), and hybrid picking.

Maslow, man. If all you’ve got is a hammer… :shrug:

Still haven’t gotten around to playing my guitars with violin bows or electric drills, though.

Completely depends on what I'm playing. I usually have a pick in my pocket and keep a pick tucked in the strings of any guitar sitting around, because it's better to have a pick and not need one than to need a pick and not have one.
 
I haven't used a pick in over 6 years. I've been raw dogging it. No thumbpicks and my nails are short.
 
I do, although I occasionally tuck it and use my fingers &/or thumb for certain things (Wes Montgomery-style octaves and block chords, quiet comping while the bass is soloing, etc.). My style (manouche jazz) is built around using a flat pick.
 
Electric is pretty much always with a pick. Acoustic I can go either way, though my finger picking is pretty rusty right now.

Almost always use a pick. My mother is very good at travis picking, but for whatever reason I never picked that up from her when I was learning.
 
A bit of both, and I sometimes flip the pick as well to get a more crisp attack. For rhythm parts I like plucking triads with my fingers to sort of drive the song forward, I guess a bit like Mark Knopfler and Crispian Mills tend to do.
