Wow I love that.

the great thing about G&L is that they have a menu of options for dealers to choose from. so you can get some really great combinations that wouldn't normally be offered, simply by dealers looking for something different. TBH, if you want the same old thing, get a Tribute. they're fantastic guitars. but if you want something a little more custom for a reasonable price, then the USA line is the way to go. and those MFD pups are amazing.

i'm not much of a fan of ProGuitarShop, but this is pretty cool. i haven't seen another dealer just put all the options out there like this: http://proguitarshop.com/store/guitars-l-guitars-c-1_27

I was reading that the other day. It put a hearty check for G&L in my want list....

I'll take this:

in Lake Placid Blue, with double body binding, a tort guard, gun oil gloss neck, and the Heritage C neck.

Maybe a Bigsby too. :embarrassed:

I like this one!

However this is my favorite! Bought it in 1992. And the guitar plays and sounds awesome!

I couldn't find much that grabbed me...
maybe I just wasn't looking properly.

anyhoo, I do like this:

but I'd like it more if the headstock matched the body

I have an ASAT Special and used to have a Legacy HB. Both Tribute series guitars. I am regretting getting rid of the Legacy because the more guitars I play, the more I realize nothing sounds as good as these two. I love how the ASAT feels and it is a monster. It has the larger MFD pickups and they can do it all. The neck pickup is the best I have heard and the bridge humbucker in the Legacy was absolutely fantastic.

If I were to get another, it would be a Legacy HB again. Fantastic guitar and I would love to play a US model.

Tried a Comanche at a used store that was a guys #1 that he had to sell as he fell on hard times. Great neck, custom paint I've never seen anywhere else and the woodwork was stellar. Two guys were fighting over it it was so good.
