Whelp....spring

looks like spring has done flown the coop here and like clockwork we're rolling right into summer. So looks like Saturday morning I will be going up on the roof for a few hours and getting the swamp cooler going....fun fun fun!

I broke the shorts out yesterday and that will probably be the case here on out till late October except for a couple more weeks in the pre daewn morning dog walks. Every year like clockwork right around Easter it gets hot here. I am just not looking forward to scraping the cooler, installing new copper tubing , float and then all the fine tuning when the calcium and shit builds up like in the middle of summer and clogs the lines....yea summer !

This week started out in the low 70's. Then snow. Now back to the upper 70s by the weekend. And we will likely get snow again this month.

Don't get too excited. It was 45 here this morning and a high of 58. Supposed to warm back up though next week. Better than 22 for sure. Don't know where you headed but I am in Ormond Beach.

so....it's 82 inside my house now.....definitely going up on the roof tomorrow morning bright and early like 60 am and getti ng the swamp cooler done. it is now officially shorts season until mid to late october. I literally never wear long pants except for work generally from Mid April till mid October...they go in the closet like most people put away winter jackets.

so....it's 82 inside my house now.....definitely going up on the roof tomorrow morning bright and early like 60 am and getti ng the swamp cooler done. it is now officially shorts season until mid to late october. I literally never wear long pants except for work generally from Mid April till mid October...they go in the closet like most people put away winter jackets.

I'm that way with socks. Mid-May to early October though.

It’s a dry heat

it is BUT it's a dry heat for about three months and then in July and august it;s a wet heat and whilst it is not 90 percent humidity it is above 95 degrees for about 15 hours a day and then in se0temper it turns to dry heat again until about the beggining off November.
