Whats a good Les Paul neck pickup?

I think I still like the bridge pickup in my LP Standard (its a Burstbucker Pro) but the neck pickup is a bit muddy for my tastes. What do you guys dig? I was thinking just a Duncan '59 or an Antiquity but I'm open to suggestions.
 
Either a Duncan 59 or a Duncan Jazz. When you did the shot out between our LP's I had a 59 in the neck as well. I also love the Jazz in there. Used to use them in my older setups but was tougher to find in LA (yeah LA) without having to wait a few days. The Jazz in combo with the 59 bridge to me has a real smooth sound - not really overbearing. It was ossum for comping as it was hotter than a single coil or position 4 on a strat yet the tone was similar but just heavier. With the one jazz that I had left over from the old days, I put into my rebuild Tele so it has the Jazz in the Neck and a 1/4 pounder in the tail. The lil 59 was just too smooth in the bridge as I wanted more of the Tele bite from the bridge.

I have also played my friends LP with loaded antiquities. The pair sounded really good and with more meat than using a jazz in the neck.
 
I really like the percussive focused attack of the Jazz in the neck for LPs....no mud for sure
 
The '59 or Jazz will work great. The LP type guitar I have has what they believe is a 59 and it's warm but with clarity.
 
I like the Duncan '59 in my Les Paul Std., but I LOVE the Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF in my Soloway.
 
The 59 is a great p/u for the neck for sure. I have a LP with one in there and it is magical for sure. You won't be disappointed Mark. I can also make a suggestion get in touch with Ken from Rose pickups and get a set of humbuckers a pair costs less than what you will pay for one new at GC. He makes sweet hand wound stuff. I have a set of the the "Knockouts" with ceramic magnets, get away from the alnico magnets and watch that Les Paul wake up and scream like it should. They tone down nice with your volume knob and are great...just DO IT!...lol! you won't be sorry!

I actually have a Rose humbucker at work that he sent me for some demos but I'm not sure it would work for the guitar I'm talking about.

I almost ordered a set of '59s last night when I bought my compressor but I didn't want to spend too much all at once.
 
I'd first play around with the PU height before making a swap. Small changes in height can have a big affect on the color of the sound.
