This, the government will pay EVENTUALLY. 120+ days is normal if your lucky. I will only take government contracts if I get 75% in advance. You also have almost no recourse to get paid by the government.

Yup. This is my daily life dealing with Medicare.
Medicaid is not bad. We get an authorization before we do the equipment, so billing is a formality. They don't pay well, but they do pay on time.

My inlaws do mainly government contracts...mostly cities and counties but if they do anythign for either the state of California or the federal governmentthey only take payment by credit card. No purchase orders or checks. :embarrassed:
