Mrs. G's dad is sick.
This is the guy who stocked most of the tools in my wood shop, taught me everything I know about shellac and gave me the giant pile of walnut a few years back.
He had a stroke last winter but was doing fairly well. He's been going downhill lately and a new brain scan reveals another stroke and diminishing activity on one hemisphere.
Then they found a mass under his arm. He's going to see a surgeon tomorrow but it looks like it's lymphatic cancer of a fairly advanced stage.
Mojo for my wife and her dad, please. Looks like there's no way out of this one for him. :(

Makes it tough because he's not the easiest guy to be around. He kinda bailed on his wife and kids years ago, leaving them in a terrible situation. But, it is family, he has matured some since then and seemed to be becoming a decent guy. I guess nobody is 100% sinner or saint so we take what we get, eh?
