Plenty of guitar playing and music listening as usual. It was pretty cold out so I opted not to play golf.
Seemed to spend most of my time cleaning up messes. Tumped over a jar of pickles, for example. The old and infirm Mr. Kitty makes a lot of messes - he had a pee under one of my guitars and saturated a perfectly good guitar strap.

Spent the weekend babysitting a dog for one of my wife's colleagues, a very cute and extremely well-trained and well-behaved retriever. They've really done a great job there. Lots of walks, playing around in the snow and I guess a just lot more attention than usually. Reportedly the poor thing is still sleeping.

Friday Mrs JBJ was in Edinburgh for the night so I had a few pints then headed home for a night in with the dog. Store bought curry for dinner, it sucked.
Saturday: had a nice lie in then pottered about and went to meet Mrs JBJ off the train with Lola. Put on sous vide tomahawk steak, it was delicious. Had it with roasted vine tomatoes, mushrooms, prawns and chimchurri sauce. Stuck on Muppets Christmas Carol as per tradition and fell asleep halfway through it thanks to the Oktoberfest beers and bottle of wine Id been drinking.
Sunday: Mrs JBJ was out again so I got tonnes tidied up around the house, wrapped my work secret Santa present and decided to just do the rest of the gifts even though I hate wrapping. That's it all done and I'm feeling pretty organised for Christmas. Had a hankering for a good curry following Fridays debacle but couldn't be bothered getting ingredients in as I was cosy in the house so phoned a good local place. Got some beautiful pakora and a vindaloo. Watched crap on telly then went for an early-ish night.
