This weekend my wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Got dressed up and went up into town for dinner at a fairly nice restaurant on Saturday.
Sunday, I bought a variety of different meatless burgers at the grocery store and had a grill-off to see which ones were the best. I preferred the fattier ones like the Impossible Burger, while my wife actually liked the drier old-school patties like Morningstar Farms. Anyhow, stick 'em on a bun and top 'em with the regular hamburger stuff, and they're a decent stand-in if you're trying to cut back on meat. They grill up ridiculously fast though, so I didn't even get a chance to melt a slice of cheese on them. Might actually be better to just cook them on the stove in a pan.
