Golf: couldn’t score to save my life, but I’m happy with the way my swing is coming along.
Guitar: played all the guitars. All the amps. Even learned some new stuff.
Gastronomy: I scored a couple pounds of genuine central Texas brisket Friday night and we lived off of it all weekend. So tender, so delicious.
It’s getting really hot but the air was nice and clear:

Friday: Went here and there cleaned walked the dog and played guitar. Called the nursing home to see when I could visit my mom after Covid. Was told they would call me back and they never did. Started watching Stranger Things with my girl and her daughter. Strange shit there brothers.
Saturday: Cut grass, walked the dog played guitar.
Sunday: Chilled, grilled, Stranger Things, walked the dog. Took a moon shot.

Yep.
Mostly work on stuff around the house. Standing desk top I am making, printer cart to go with that. Wood finishing takes patience. Not my normal state of being. Also a MTB ride, a dog hike, and got the camper on the truck to be ready to head to the Gorge for the Brandi Carlile (and co.) concert next weekend, with Walla Wall wine tasting on the way. (after we have camp set up for the night. No driving campers whilst wine tasting).

I have no idea why the photo loader flips pics once in a while. Oh well, you get the idea. And getting that camper on the rig is WAY better after installing proper corner camper jacks and abandoning the janky try-pod ones it came with in the mid-90's. Old campers. They work, with a little work. And they cost a hell of a lot less than the new stuff.
Saturday- stuff around the house. Packed for a business trip.
Sunday - started said business trip with a 2.5 drive followed by 5 hours of golf, drive to the hotel, change, dinner and drinks. Then bed. Early. Dammit. I’m too old for this shit.
Now I get to stand in a booth for 2.5 days.

'Tina' most of last week, then Fri/Sat/Sun with my cover band. Not sure if I've mentioned that we changed our format a couple of years ago to all 80's pop/rock and went with a unified look/schtick, I guess you could say. Our price has doubled and we no longer have to play bars, for the most part.

A pretty chill weekend. I did some gardening, and put together my new wed wacker - which works quite well.
Our church is still without power, so we are running on generators which limited our sound system on Sunday. We have 5 inputs and run the mains only - no monitors at all. We had a cajon, two acoustic guitars, and three vocalists. I played second acoustic and capo'd up and played complimentary parts to the other guitar. It was a lot of fun and a very nice change from structured electric parts to a click track in in-ears. I like doing both, but this was a nice change up.

Friday, stayed home dealing with the usual post-COVID booster shot on Thursday. We switched to Moderna this time to shake things up.
Saturday, got in a ride.
Sunday, took it easy. Mrs. T's dad died in hospice overnight, which ended some serious pain from advanced colon cancer.

Saturday - Grilled some teriyaki chiken kabobs with sweet peppers and pineapple. Coconut jasmine rice. More Stranger Things
Sunday - Wifey decided it was yard day. Mowed, edged (it was getting bad) pulled weeds and trimmed the big oak tree that was blocking an entire parking space in my driveway. I am really sore from holding that damn pole saw up in the air.

Friday - Guitar maintenance (string change/cleaning/tune up) on the LP Studio and SG. Using them for a TP rehearsal on Sunday.
Saturday - Disc Golf and took the wife to dinner.
Sunday - It was nice to play some Tom Petty tunes today with the HeartWreakers. No I have not joined them but am a first call sub should they need one. We were in a private club that has a backline, bar, and an upper level for lounging as well. Reminded me of a small Troubadour. What was interesting was the back drop, not backline but the back drop reminds of Mike Campbell's rehearsal studio with all of the decor.
Any I brought out my basic MC rig that is dwarfed by the back line in the studio - the tiny '66 BF Princeton. LMAO as my MC pedal board is bigger. I need to complete my pedal board rebuild and make it more secure. Been planning to do it for a while and I got most of the stuff. Oh well, it was fun!!!
