I've been easing back into running, got in a good run with some running buddies that I haven't seen for a while. A friend invited me to a private outdoor range, so I spent some time Sunday making holes in paper and loud noises. Not sure I'll become a "gun person" any time soon, but it was a lot of fun
I grew up shooting long guns, and my dad having them in the house (hunting related, because 'mericuh), but had never shot a handgun beforeI've been shooting in Latvia a few times as a tourist thing you do. It was fun in a novelty kind of way but f***ing terrifying having something you could easily kill someone with in your hand, I've no idea why anyone would want to have one in their house.

Mojo. I spent a few days there for a conference. No public transportation and, other than the hotel/Convention center, the nearest restaurant was miles away.Fr.: Some other theater, Overland Park, KS
I put the finishing touches on my ambient music video project. Carol, my aesthetics director, told me the font on the quotes was too much and had me make them much smaller. Then, after viewing it on TV decided it was too small so I had to go back in and make them all larger. It is done, though, and I am happy with how it turned out.
I grew up around guns and used to go hunting with my dad and brother from about 13 until 16. After that me and my best bud would always take a couple rifles ca,mping and plink around or just go out on the weekend that lasted till maybe my mid twenties. then I would always take a rifle camping (for perceived protection) but that stopped about 2015 (i realised "you know that time I was sleeping in the cab of my truck and the black bear jumped into the bed of the truck and stole my ice chest I didn't go for the gun but rather I honked the horn)...or the other times I had bear encounters were without a gun and the bear always ran off from just shouting at him or 'thinking tough thoughts{I think they sense on fear, etc like a dog} or the time I encountered illegals on a hike...no gun they didn't assault me)I've been shooting in Latvia a few times as a tourist thing you do.
