Want to meet your neighbors? Crash a drone in their yard

We moved into our current house about 18 months ago. Met most of our neighbors several times already but never even saw the folks in one of the two houses that are next to ours. My wife convinced herself they're meth cooks and have a nice house and nice cars as cover.

That all changed this evening when I crashed a drone into their back yard. The Mrs. was home so I sorta waved at her from the property line and then walked over. She was as pleasant as can be. She apologized for not coming over to visit and said of course I could poke around the property to find my little quadcopter.

After I found it, she waved me to come inside. I opened the door and there she was, completely naked save for a riding crop and knee high patent leather boots. I was too excited to be reunited with my new toy so I bid her farewell and went back to my yard to fly some more.

Most of this story is true.

When we were in California for the holidays, my brother in law showed me a drone he found in his backyard. It's large and had a GoPro Hero camera mounted on it. I can't believe someone hadn't come looking for it. It had wires connected to the camera that looked like a transmitter, so I assumed whoever flew it there could see where it went, but he'd had it for a month and no one had inquired. I tried to trick him out of the GoPro, but no dice.

If you live at 1602 Pennsylvania Avenue in DC you will certainly meet your neighbor in a hurry if you crash a drone in his yard.
