Uber and Lyft

That has to be tough on those workers, but gas prices will always fluctuate up and down. That is not going to change.

Here in Boulder most of the drivers found better paying jobs so surge prices can be crazy. The last time I tried to get a car it was $36 for a four mile drive in no traffic at 8:embarrassed:0pm.

are you saying it cost 36 dollars to go 4 miles in a Lyft? That's not any cheaper than a taxi is it? and at least the Taxi is on the upkeep and you probably don't have to worry about the driver taking you to a secluded farmhouse

I think that the taxis around here would actually have been cheaper. But parking in downtown Boulder is free at night so I just drove myself and didn’t have any beer.

We have a fish and ship shop (pick up only) but yeah....,why? Uber? WTF?

I guess it is what you become? Amazon I never use.

The fish and chip shop won the best in Australia award a few years ago. Still the same fresh fishermans basket.

And before munchy box chimes in..we are talking 3 prawns, 2 tassie scallops (with roe), 3 calamari rings. 2 pieces of tasmanian blue cod..chips ..all for under 25.
Skip those waterfront joints in Hobart...delve a bit deeper.

Aqua Grill Franklin. Check opening times...they are strict.

Not sure how we got from ubers to fish n' chips - but that topic is actually more interesting to me, so carry on.

yeah sorry to all. I was very drunk that night and angry at the world. Again sorry I have got to the point of stopping watching all news. Not good maybe selfish.

My nephew lives in Australia.
He’s a trained chef but gave it all up to own and operate a dumpster company.
Too many late nights behind the fish and chips shops gets a guy enamoured, I guess.
