Those little things that go wrong...

Gary Blanchard

beloved, local musician
On November 17, Kunaki shipped 2 copies of my new CD to me. By November 19th it went from Reno, NV to Shrewsbury MA. Since then it has gone to Illinois and is now in Missouri.

Yesterday I stepped in the shower to trim my beard and realized after the first pass that the guard setting had somehow been changed from 7 to 0. o_O

I'm glad that this is the stuff I have to fret about. :thu:

Sometimes life just seems to enjoy throwing us a curve. It's nice to know that your curves aren't involving life and limb.

I would use that shipping to your advantage.
In just 3 days, copies of my new CD ( enter name here ) have been shipped to Nevada, Mass, Illinois, and Misery..

Apparently the driver broke into your package and loves the cd so much that he's hanging on to it until he gets back around to your area. At least he was nice enough to log it in at each stop.

Somehow. :embarrassed:hmy:

I did something similar once; I was cutting my hair with a #3 comb and it came off. Before I noticed, instant Larry Fine! I ended up just shaving my head and wearing a beanie for about a week (it was Januar, and my head got COLD!)

We have a woman who comes in to do the major cleaning once a month; my guess is that when she moved the trimmer to clean she hit the guard and changed it without realizing. You better believe I'll be checking it close each time I use it, now. At least for a while until I forget about this.

So, is just one side of your face clean shaven? :poke:
No, I had to do the whole thing. It left a little stubble, a starter beard, but it has so much white that it is harder to see. It won't take too long to come back, though. I can imagine how my students will react, though.
