Great timing considering all the Kemper talk today.

The new frfr cab with the 8 inch speaker. Just slightly bigger than the Kemper itself and...2000 watts!
I've run the Kemper into a Katana 50 so far but that just didn't have enough headroom for live gigs. This should do the trick.

Just did a quick little test run with it, and it sounds really good. Shocked at how much low end it delivers despite the size and speaker!

Rehearsal tomorrow and gig this weekend will be first proper test, very promising so far. Love that you can have it on a speaker stand as well.
 
Worked great at tonight's rehearsal! Band with drums, bass, keys and 3 guitars. Didn't get drowned out at all, which often is the case with stuff like this.

Plenty of headroom volume wise, and sounds more than good enough as a "stage monitor" for guitar. Remarkably full sounding for an 8 inch speaker :embarrassed:
 
Man I gotta check one of those out. I've been using Mackie hd 1221s and although they sound great they are heavy. Those things seem like a bargain too.

So far I'm very happy. Small, lightweight (considering the power of it) and sounds good. Great value for the price imo.
