I saw them on tour about a decade or so ago over here in Euro-land and they're frankly the worst live band I've ever seen.
I struggle to understand how a band that has been playing for about 60 years can be so unbelievably horrible at actually playing a song right.
There's "loose" and then there's Stones. In a way they were the first punk band in that regard.
I saw them live more because I thought I should more than actually wanting to. Never was a fan and never will be.
I can name ONE tune of theirs that I think is great, and that would be Gimme Shelter.

So given your last statement why would anyone expect you to like their live act if you only like one of their songs?
I will say that they were much looser live back in the 70s. Playing everything too fast and not following the original arrangements. I think they tightened some of that up in the 90s and 00s. And if you see them now you’re just happy that they’re alive.

You know what, I try my best not to get involved in your over-elaborated self-indulgent bullshit. But in this case I will make an exception.
The Stones are the worst live band I've ever seen. Keith was so drunk he couldn't even play the intro to Brown Sugar right (he missed the second chord by a half-tone, seriously).
And yep, that was the first extra number after a dull show.
The only decent singer in the band was...Lisa Fischer, and she's not even included on the current tour...
I actually tried. Went to a show and actively tried to like it. It was shit.
Normally I will have an open mind going into a show I'm not exactly thrilled with. After seeing them. I was shocked at how dreadful they were. But as it's the Stones, that's somehow ok?
Imagine if Sir Paul did a show that poor. People would seriously lose their shit.

It's a safe 'good night out" . I sure as shit would not see the "Stones" now but back in the 70's....hell yeah or even the early 80's but beyond somewhere around 86....no way !
Teh rawk and roll of the stones ilk shouls have some 'danger" some unpredictability, etc....playing it safe is the modern business model ....no edge, nuttin'. It's like how Aaerosmith rawked in the 70's and went to shit...same thing
The reason it was a dull show is because they are a dull band now....no challenges, no danger, collecting the cash and playing a hit list. Keith was probably so drunk because it was the only way he could tolerate the mundaneness.....wtf is Lisa Fischer *spits*

You and Dexter really took off the gloves in the Rolling Stones debate. If you win the argument, do they sound any better? I remember hearing a live clip of 'Undercover In The Night' 25 years ago, and it sounded horrible.
I can do an accurate version of Mick singing Start Me Up Live. It sounds like crap. Add to that that they sell seats for $1000.

I have never played a Kremona. I do like the looks of that particular classical. It has gotten great reviews.
