Mojo Request That moment when you...

Keep the 8.5x14 version saved somewhere. That way, when you sell a billion copies, you can "reissue" the "original mix" for your hardcore fans.

It'll be like listening to the Beatles in mono.

lol.

Currently on page 63, and the book already has an additional 15 pages. No bueno.

go to upload your finished book to the publisher for a proof copy and discover that you've been using the 8x14 page size instead of the 8.5x11 that you thought you were on.

Strangely this has never happened to me

Mojo anyways Mark

Slap a photo of a goldtop LP on the front cover, retitle the thing "Guitar Fundamentals for Lawyers," print it out in legal size format and call it a day.

SO I've now fixed more pages than were originally in the book to start with and I have 20 left to go, with probably 8-10 more being added as the content gets rejiggered.

Not fun, Mark.

I can't tell you how many times I've finished off a manual only to be told, "Oh, we've decided to change the size of the box the product is being shipped in, so we need to adjust the dimensions of the manual", or, "We've decided to go with fold-out instructions, rather than a book format", usually followed up with "Can you send us the new size today?" And that's happened more than once on the same feckin product.

Yeah. I did this to myself though :embarrassed:

I might be done tonight. Making good time between students.
