Switching from 620 to 660

Saw this on Reverb last nite for a good price and decided to go for it and swap out my 620. It has a wider neck than my 620, which is a bit cramped. Also has vintage pickups. Listing the 620 once this shows up.

Yeah - I feel you. I have a friend with a 360 and a 360-12, and as beautiful and jangly as they are, I simply cannot get used to the cramped fingerboard. I have been gassing for a 650 or 660 for years and could kick myself for not buying a 650D when they were still making them.

I really wanted the turquoise 650A, but never bought one at the time because I was just too broke.

Looking at it now, I'm not sure whether I dodged a bullet or really missed out.

The tailpiece looks easier to string than the 620 too. I love the 620 though, but my hands are a tad smaller than yours

Congrats Charles. I have a 620 also, and hardly ever play it because of the narrow neck and small frets. But mine was an insane deal, so I can't complain.
