There is no official "theme", but if you would like one for direction I am thinking "Beatles"...there are tons of songs in many styles to choose from...

Like last time we'll be having two reveals...the "newbie" and the "experienced" sets....when you send me your stuff please indicate which reveal you would like to be posted in.
 
I've never done a Beatles tune. Well, I've hardly recorded anything - so that would be easy. You could extend it out to any post Beatles solos tunes by the members as well. That would add in tons of great stuff (Macca, Harrison, Lennon solo, Wings, Traveling Wilburys, Plastic Ono band, etc).

That way there are some easier tunes for us newbies, and the Prages/Tamoore/MicWalts of this world can tackle 'A Day In The Life', 'Live And Let Die', 'What Is Life', or 'Handle With Care'.....

I don't mind the Beatles theme, and I promise, I'll do one that I've never done before. :embarrassed:



















80s hair metal would kick all kinds of ass too though. :thu:

Thats kind of why I had suggested it....there are songs of all difficulty levels...also keep in mind that the theme isn't "mandatory" for participation. I know that some guys aren't set up to do full band-type production or are just getting their feet wet so if they just want to put a track of them soloing over a BT that would be fine, too...
 
My Beatles song is falling apart. I thought I picked an easy one and was just going to play it acoustic but I cant get the vocals to sound right with the guitar. :mad:

I am thinking it is a problem with the key I am playing it in or maybe it is just the voicings. I am frustrated for sure. :HB:
 
I've got an original about half done....and I have a fairly unpleasant cold, hope it clears up for me to get the vocals down...
