OK, so the Epi has been flipped for an Ampeg Reverberocket, which will be listed as soon as I get pics...

Trying to decide between offers on the Peavey Delta Blues 210. I have an early 60's Silvertone U-1 Dolphin Head guitar, a Peavey classic 50 410, and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe....I'm leaning towards the silvertone, though I'm having a hard time finding references for value...of course, the Classic 50 is Fanuvbrak's....hmm...

Thats a hard one. The Silvertone might be a bad idea if you can't get the perceived "vintage" value from it. The amps are a wash for me, but I'd think it would be between braks amp and the Hot Rod Deluxe for flip value.

Yeah, if i wasn't going to a guitar show next week, I probably wouldn't even consider the Silvertone...

really depends on how clean that U1 is. they were absolutely worthless for decades and only now have started to go for vintage prices. pics?

I am thinking that the HRD would probably have a better audience for a trade. The Peavey, which is a better amp than the HRD, is not as well known...

I'd say it's a tossup between the Peavey and the Fender. Both are good amps, and both probably have about the same resale value on any given day.

The Fender may have a bit more perceived value just for name recognition though.

The Fender seems to be worth more, from checking completed listings on Ebay. I am surprised actually, I thought the classic 50s went for a little more than they do. I'd take the Fender.

For the game of Aahzz, I'd probably take the Fender too.

If it was about which amp I'd rather have, I'd either keep the DB or go with the C50, though.

Did you see that CL deal I posted yesterday? Guy in morgantown is selling his Dual Rec head for 800 bucks. Even if you have no interest in that head, you could flip it for 3 or 400 more EASY.

I didn't notice he was in Morgantown, but I did see the post.

If I had $800 laying around, I'd probably jump, but I don't. :embarrassed:

That sucks. I'd love to get it just to flip it. I thought briefly about selling the nomad outright to come up with the 800 but by the time I got it sold I am certain that the recto would be gone. Matter of fact I would be shocked if it were still available even right now. Ive never seen one sell that low.

If I was looking to keep an amp right now, it'd be the DB in a heartbeat - sounds freakin' amazing...
