We have the Falcon one - not sure if it is that exact model though. I think ours is about 18" - 24" from tip to tail.

She was in Phantom Menace, too.

If I were running this show, I wouldn't bring anyone back, I'd hire up a bunch of Dark Horse guys, ask them to write something that hasn't been done already, hire some really good script doctors to rewrite it, and then cast a bunch of theatre actors who haven't had too many screen roles yet.

But that's just me.

YES! Or, you know, you're Disney, so you could see if Demi Lovato is busy.

If it were me I would hire a mixed crew of unknowns and well known veteran actors, a couple of whom are brilliant actors, and few who are terrible actors. Then I would saddle them with a script so bad that they all seem to be terrible. Then throw in a bazillion CGI effects.

No - wait - Lucas already covered that plan.....dang it.

I don't know. Star Trek worked out well and they brought Lenard Nimoy back. The guy writing the script is the same guy that wrote Empire. I will remain guardedly optimistic.

I think that Disney has been nothing less than brilliant in its handling of its Marvel properties. Having someone smart at the helm (Kevin Feige) and then basically using the television show model of show runner who delegates, which works really well when you surround yourself with talented people you trust and then know how to delegate and get out of the way.

True. The Star Trek reboot was awesome and exceptionally well done.

I may be in the minority-- in fact I know I am -- but I don't think the Star Trek reboot was particularly good. While I thought it was "okay" the first time I saw it, the film definitely doesn't hold together on a second look. Incredibly dull villain, mind-numbing coincidences, ludicrous "cadets commanding Starfleet's flagship" plotline, the annoyance factor of Chris Pine (who makes Shatner look like Olvier in comparison) ... it all adds up to one giant bore.

So I can't get too excited about JJ Abrams helming the Star Wars franchise. I'm glad Kasdan's involved, but I'm not expecting anything beyond the standard CGI-infested potboiler.

PS: Get off my lawn!

I thought it was bad as I was watching it in the theater, fwiw.
