Post songs or artists that have (rightly or wrongly) been lost in time, that hardly anybody will remember
God, that was dire. I remember '19' very clearly. It was a #1 single here in the UK, and part of that strange Vietnam War revision/nostalgia zeitgeist thing going on at that time. Suddenly every boy at school was a Vietnam War expert.
Remember this one?

I remember this 19 very well. Heard in the radio relatively recently. Never heard the second one, WTF was that?
I'm going to piss @OGG off by claiming this as 'forgotten'

I had this on vinyl back in the day. I probably bought it around 1984 at the local skate shop. JFA was out of Phoenix, AZ so they were "local"
Here is what wiki has for JFA's Bio.....
JFA was formed in April 1981, 19 days after the failed attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley, Jr.[1] Hinckley, an obsessed fan of Jodie Foster and her portrayal of a teen prostitute in the 1976 Martin Scorsese film Taxi Driver, reportedly attempted to kill the President as a means of impressing the actress.[2] The band's name was thus a dark play on Hinckley's attempt at murdering Reagan — a hated figure in the early 1980s punk rock scene.
Stan was also the singer in the band 'Wall Of Vodoo'. Their big hit has faded away.

Wes Powell and the Wanna-Bees.
Super fun stupid burlesque or whatever the fuck it was

Old school lolz there, lads.
Remember when Wes tried to reinvent himself as a jazz guy? What was that stupid fucking band that he kept trying to inflict on us as the pinnacle of jazz? They were like a jazz equivalent of 'Blues Hammer' from Ghost World.
It was a name like the Rockinghams or some shit. Never heard them before or since.
The Rippingtons. Jazz peaked with extremely white 90s-era Weather Channel music. Genius orchestration. Russ Freeman? Greatest composer of the past century.
