So, this weekend

I had a heart attack. I am writing from the hospital, and am scheduled for a cardiac catheterization tomorrow. Luckily, I went to the hospital at the first signs on tightness in the chest so they think not much damage was done. With any luck I'll get released tomorrow or Tuesday. In the meantime, it it heart monitors, IVs, and constant blood drawing.

I had a heart cath about 8 or 9 years ago. Not a huge deal, I was in and out the same day. Maybe you'll get lucky like me and end up with an ICD. Those aren't bad either, just a few weeks of bad soreness. But then you get to tell folks you are a cyborg
