It is supposed to be cooling down and fallish around here. Except that does not seem to be happening anytime soon. Tomorrow is September 30th and I have not had to wear a coat yet this fall. It was 90 on Sunday. Low 80s tomorrow. It was the hottest September since 1875. That was a long time ago - even before Gary's time.

Considering that fall is my favorite season, I wish summer would be a gentleman and get the hell out of here. And winter can wait as well. And I want no mention of the 'S' word for another two months.

Aside from the burning lava fields that are SoCal right now - how is fall out your way?

Fall hasn't started here yet. We are still in the high 80's/low 90's every day. I heard on the news this morning that the dew point/humidity is supposed to drop later this week, giving us a bit of a break on the perceived heat, but the temp forecasts are still in the same range for the next ten days.
 
we're getting cooler each day this week. we may not get out of the 50's on saturday.
it's 63 right now and drizzle.
 
Is it summer yet? :(

I need to move somewhere warmer, either that or be rich and have a summer house in the north and a winter house down south :embarrassed:
 
Gorgeous over here, but a little too warm for my taste. Mid to high 70's for highs in Hailey, and in my mind, it should be high 60s to mid 70's, and starting to freeze at night, or close to it. Around 40 at night right now.

We had a beautiful weekend of autumn temperatures and now it's in the 80s and rainy. This weekend it'll be a high in the 40s. :messedup:
 
Should be in the low 60's to around 80 here starting Thursday. Perfect!
The hummingbirds have already left after fueling up on our feeders the last few weeks.
 
I had to get the leaf blower out last weekend. Fall comes fast in Boulder. In a week or two I’ll have to prep the sprinkler system for winter.
 
It's hitting really late here in NH, too.

It is hot and humid tonight, after a week where it got down into the low 40's at night.

The leaves are late changing.

I'm about ready for some cool weather.
 
Rainy and about 80 today, but the temperature will fall about 10 degrees for tomorrow's high. Still the night time lows will be in the 50's until Sunday when it the lows will hit the low 40's. I have hopes that Fall is beginning to show up.
