So, I'm guessing that having 2 million YouTube subs must pay pretty good...

There seems to be a large group of Youtubers who do only that for a living, including tons of guitar players.
If people liked to hear about water and wastewater I'd give it a shot.

we've just spent the last almost 10 years designing and building 72 million gallons worth of underground storage basins to vastly eliminate CSO's during heavy wet weather events.

What part of the country are you in?

It's a new way to earn a living. If you can get enough subs it can pay the bills. It's not easy as it seems though.

Sounds a lot like work to me
The hardest part is being interesting.

Rather, it’s convincing yourself that you are interesting.
I can’t. Therefore, I have only three subscribers.

There's a car guy on youtube, Salamondrin or some such name...just about every other month he's buying some expensive car. Rolls, Bentleys, Ford GT's, McLarens, one of those Mercedes Land Rover-looking things for his wife, etc.

All I can think of is where does he make his money, to be able to do that?

Computer and tech videos during the week...cars on the weekend...

Linus would probably have challenged him to a race but the "Lambo" is dead.

Maybe Linus could take Jay on with his Tesla.

There are literally parents playing with kids toys with millions of subscribers and millions of views on every upload. They make a killing.
