The good news is Pistol (the horse) seems to be doing well with his new breathing hole. If anybody wants to see what a horse tracheostomy looks like I'll post the pic but, uh, it's a little gross
I still don't know if she just didn't see the trailer, or couldn't hear it, or what the hell happened. I'm still a little shocky I think, and just very tired still.
Laid her down with an old sweatshirt that she'd lay on while I was commuting back and forth to my old job. She went with me every day. I had a little bed for her under my desk and she'd just chill most of the day. I wanted to take her to work with me when I started at the prison, but I just never had a solid enough spot for her to stay. Besides that would be leverage for the inmates.
