Sad News: Big Butter Jesus Melted by Lightning

Apparenty Haywood Banks has written a new verse for his Big Butter Jesus song. I haven't heard it yet, but Bob and Tom said they'd have it on their site later today.

My girlfriend and I always joke about it when we ride home with each other because we both pass it on 68 on our way home from Morgantown. It's looked exactly the same since I've been a little kid and remember seeing it and thinking "Wow, this'll be cool when they get it finished!!".

One day though we actually saw a guy on some scaffolding doing something to it. We both got excited thinking maybe they were finally doing something. On the way back to Morgantown about a week later...nah, it was the same as always. Maybe that guy added one more bolt and nut. :shrug:
 
Well if they do finsish the ark and the big flood comes - and someone has to take the animals in pairs - tell them to forget the mosquitos this time.
 
The pastor was quoted this morning saying that "just like The Terminator" Jesus would be back. :facepalm:

I'm guessing you missed the section in the Gospel of Matthew where Jesus drove a truck through the front wall of the temple to overturn the money-lenders' tables.
