That's a great clip that I've never seen before. My brother saw them on that tour, & I we both saw them on the next & subsequent tours. Some of my favorite memories.
 
They kinda lost me at Power Windows. But I still think that the music on all the later stuff was good, it just wasn't the same Rush that I grew up on :(

Test For Echo is their weakest album, imo.
 
That really was a great clip. Alex's tone was soaking wet with awesome 80s lush Chorus :)

Geddy was playing the one Roland Synth that I unequivocally despise... D-50.

A first generation "Rompler", it was a gritty, all digital "additive" machine that wasn't really a "Synthesizer" at all, but a means to stack multiple digitally sampled waveforms on top of each other in varying degrees via an asinine menu diving process that could drive the smartest users batshit insane.

Somehow he coaxed a nice sound out of it. I prefer good old knobs and sliders. In fact... I need to create a thread :wink:
