Rush being by far my favorite band, there is just too much good music to pick a favorite; however, whenever I'm noodling on the guitar, I often catch myself playing lines from "La Villa...". A absolute instrumental masterpiece. Otherwise, for absolute high-octane jams, there's Bastille Day to YYZ to Analog Kid to Cut To The Chase to Driven...jeez...
 
Limelight is my fave but like alot of their stuff, even the late 80's and 90's stuff like the Power Windows album.That tour was the first time I saw them in concert.

I've never really loved Getty's voice, but he sounded really good on the recent live album/DVD,
Time Machine 2011 Live In Cleveland.

"By-Tor and the Snow Dog" because the lyrics are epically pretentious. Even more so considering the actual event the song is based on.

Generally, I don't listen to Rush because I just can't endure Geddy Lee's voice. Nails on a chalkboard to my ears.

Really hard to pick one for me, though I don't own any. Gonna have to correct that. I could pretend and try to pick a deep track, but I am gonna go with this one. "closer to the heart" and "tom sawyer" are also up there for me.

I would agree with that. It was the formal return of the big guitar sound. They had been leaning that way on the previous two albums, but 'Counterparts' was the return of the guitar being front and center.
 
My favorite Rush song is the entire 2112 album...

Of course, aside from all those tunes...
