Got my tickets for May 2019 at the Rose Bowl. Never seen them live. Seems like a bucket list item. And they still sound good if that Cuba concert documentary was any indication.

Nosebleed section seats and only cost hundreds of dollars. Floor seats were over a thousand each.

I was tempted until I saw the prices. I can’t believe people will pay that much for the nosebleed seats. Might as well wait for the Blu-Ray to come out and watch it at home.

These guys survived the 60s and drug habits. They have no body fat (don't see too many overweight eighty year olds), and probably don't take weird sleeping pill/medicine like Prince or Michael (maybe they do, but I'm believing they don't). Now anyone can get cancer like Bowie, but these guys are older than Bowie and still ticking. I think I'm good.

When the lights go out and you hear the riff to (Satisfaction, Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, whatever...) it hits like a sledgehammer. You can think you're too cool for it but those are the goddamned Stones and they're a machine.
 
I saw them like 15 years ago, can't remember what tour it was. They didn't do Gimme Shelter, wtf?

Good show otherwise. Beck opened.
 
It snowed here today and there might be nothing better to do than break out the blu-ray of Ladies and Gentlemen.

 
I saw them in '05. It was a great show made even better by the fact that I didn't have to pay for tickets. They were playing at the football stadium at Duke University and I had a friend who worked there and got the tickets for free.

Still, I would have thought it was a great show even if I'd paid $100+ for nosebleeds.

My brother was a big fan and must have seen them at least five times. It would be cool to see them, but is not a bucket list thing for me.

Saw em in the mid 80s. Great spectacle but they played everything too fast then. Saw them in Nashville a few years ago and it sounded so good I could hardly believe it. Should be a great show.

Saw these same stadium shows, and they were so awesome (even tho Mick had a TelePrompTer feeding him the lyrics), I don't feel a great need to see them 30 years later, still doing stadium shows. (That, and 74-year old Keef doing Guitar Sex God stage moves makes me all skeevy. Ladies and Gentlemen>Shine a Light.)

However, if they were doing stripped down, back-to-the-roots shows at small venues, I could get interested. Even at the prices they'd be charging.
 
I saw them at the Bigger Bang tour (2005ish) thinking it would be the last chance to see them since they were in their early 60's :facepalm: I was impressed, in particular, with Jagger's energy. He was running all over a very large stage singing. Being about the same age now I doubt I could do it and I'm in decent shape. It was a good concert but I wouldn't pay that kind of money to see them again in such a large venue

Yep they played way too fast in the 70s and 80s. At some point they decided to try and emulate the recorded versions of the songs again. Good choice. And they're playing more Brian Jones era stuff (i.e. songs Keith wrote while Brian happened to be in the band). And it's great that Charlie is playing with them again (old news, I hope he still is).
