That was a shock. I've never really delved into his catalog but every time I'd hear him I'd really love it.

Massive bummer. Excellent writer, great player, and phenomenal singer. Kept meaning to go see him live, but life always got in the way. Too young, but musicians need to steer clear of motorcycles and private planes.

That he's left behind a three year old kid makes it even more tragic.

I was so, so sad to see this news yesterday. A true musician's musician and a great, unassuming person by all accounts.
