I saw one for the first time a couple of days ago. Seems just about as vile as most of the salmiakki crap they have here. Though it is always quite uplifting to see some old dude walking around in minus 20 having a salmiakki ice-cream :embarrassed:

And it's a bit like Aldi, but not really focused on the foodstuff, more on the other random crap. And less organised.

Some friend brought back some salmiakki liquor once for me. I remember it tasting quite nice but it was bloody strong.

Ps I like drop en aniseed flavoured things

I love salty drop, but the sweet kind of salmiakki stuff here doesn't do it for me. If you have the right kind of salmiakki it can be pretty good, but there's Fissu, which kind of tastes a bit like fishermans friends in a shot. That stuff's glorious if you get the homemade one in a bar.

It doesn't matter how pissed I am, I never get on the shots, even one.

Terrible idea, they all taste terrible to varying degrees and you end up completely fucked and not in a good way.

But I digress, it's super Saturday and I'm in the pub enjoying a refreshing coca cola with lunch as I'm working tonight :(

Woop, had the first rain in months. It was literally dry for over 8 weeks. Basically it hadn't rained since dust season, so a bit of rain to finally clean things up is great. Also, the plants and grass all over started looking very sad.

Weather's weird as hell now though, it's raining, but very sunny with some thunder and flashes going on...

We have weird weather here as well... it becomes dark, looking like it is going to rain, yt instead the sun breaks through... this repeats about 4 times a day.

This reminds me I havent been on a mediterranean holiday in 10 years :(

Weow... I haven't seen Oranjeboom in forever. For all I knew they dissappeared before I was even allowed to drink beer...

Yeah, I am not sure it is sold in Holland anymore, let alone the 8,5% version. For som reason, Aldi here sells Grolsch, Oranjeboom & Bavaria. Like they don’t have enough lagers here :shrug:

Btw it’s vile... tastes of lager with a very strong kick and aftertaste of alcohol. I am sure it’s solely aimed at alcoholics
 
Stunning weather here in the south west of the UK. I'm working at home at the moment to look after the wife who had an operation on her shoulder on Monday so can't go out and enjoy it unfortunately.

We have a strange situation here. The top half of the town is scorchio, the bottom part is covered in haar ( for the Euros here, haar is sea mist :grin: ) and cool
 
Got one of those nice burn/wound/scrape kind of things on my knee during football. The feeling of it tearing open every time I bend my knee is amazing :facepalm: Ah well, weather's great again, so watching the football on the balcony with some REFRESHING LAGER BEER. Jamaican Red Stripe lager was on sale in the weird crap shop, tastes pretty good in the sun.
