Reincarnation

Another Saturday morning, another birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I must have done something truly dreadful in a past life.

It wouldn't be so bad if the pizza didn't taste like cardboard.

Amen to that!

The amazing part is that Chucky Cheese has lasted as long as it has. I thought it would fade out after my generation was through raising our children through the young years. It turns out that our kids really enjoyed it and wanted to share the experience with their kid, (they have now also shared the experience from the parental point of view), who are beginning to share it with their kids. Ugh, will it ever end, or have we doomed the planet!

Back in grade school, we had a local guitarist/musician who would work with the classes every once in a while, teaching rhythm and singing as a class and all that.

Well, there was a bit of an uproar by some parents because he was having us sing Roger Miller's Reincarnation at one point. It was a fun song for kids to sing, and some parent had to go fuck it all up.

I agree that all it really needs is decent pizza to be a much more tolerable place for adults, but they have not even made that much of an effort. Thanks goodness I have not had to set foot in one in over a decade now.

It's been years since I was in one of those, but I remember the last trip was SO bad, that I will go way out of my way to not go ever again.

I remember the pizza was raw in the center, overpriced, we had to wait an extra hour for our party table because they were overbooked......some kid puked all over the inside of the ball pit, so they had to close it down.......seemed like half the games were broken....kids were crying and fucking screaming. I was handing out $5 bills to the kids at the party so they could get more tokens to play the games......some little kid at the table next to us shit his pants and stunk the whole fucking room up while we were trying to eat....

Oh, man, it was miserable. I remember it was so bad I was laughing out loud.......horrifying. Cost me a couple of hundred dollars by the time I got out of there......

Fuck that place in its meathead face.

I believe that I shall return and live this life again. I just hope that some experiences don't repeat themselves. War, poverty and Chuck E Cheese come to mind.
