Reaper Question

What are the Reaper guys using for drum programming? Is there something easy to use that comes with it? I wouldnt be looking for the best sounding drums on the planet, just something I can program easy enough to add drums to my recordings.

I use addictive drums and the MIDI piano roll editor in Reaper.

1) create a track
2) insert new midi item
3) double click midi item
4) click the squares to create the beat.

You will need some sort of a drum plugin on the MIDI track to make the actual sounds. You can try the evaluation version of Addictive or EzDrummer to get an idea what's involved.

I found a simple one that was free called GTG that does well for creating simple beats. I also downloaded the demo of Jamstix to try out. That one is very cool. I still need to mess with it some but it is likely very suited for what I need.

I am also finding Reaper to be very easy to use. I like it.

I have only messed with it a time or two but I really like it a lot. I plan on paying for it as well.
