WTF: Race Murders In Tulsa

Seriously, WTF is wrong with people. There were three killings in Tulsa last week and people were beginning to freak about a serial killer. Turns out, it was a pair of fucking neanderthals with a racial axe to grind.
Come on, people. One of these guys' dad was killed a couple of years ago, so he decides the entire race needs to be punished? WTF?

WTF is wrong with people? I can't imagine how messed up in the head someone has to be to take a life.
 
It's odd. There are quite a few folks here who have low opinions of other races. It's usually based on something stupid like "A xxxxxxx man once beat me up, so all of em are bad." That's like saying "The banker foreclosed on my house, so all white dudes are evil."
There's no logic for a hater, I suppose.

I'm pretty sure I could.
but circumstances would have to right.
i.e. someone kills my Ma?
I'd have no issue putting him down.

but that's a far cry from blaming a whole race for it.

Yes, well one thing that becomes more apparent about racial hatred as I get older is that 'white' people aren't really very prolific with it...it just so happens that they were involved in using a different race in a very inhumane and unhuman way for many years and that there is still some lingering 'hatred' tied to that - but the lingering hatred pales in comparison to other coutries. Chinese society, for example, has deep racism. Most of the middle east is highly racist.
 
It's just sad, because the variety of cultures is what is the beauty of life... Regarding being able to take another man's life, well, I caught a guy ripping of a borrowed jackhammer, and I had every intention of killing him, but I was barefoot, and couldn't catch him... I got the tool back, but my rage made me more sick to my stomach than I have ever been... It was not a good feeling...

We've all been there to one degree or another but there's a big difference between rage directed at an individual for a specific act and blaming an entire race for the crimes of one man.

very true.
I've met people of all races, creeds, colours, etc that I couldn't stand.
had nothing to do with their race, creed, colour, etc.
it was becuase they were assholes.

and the reverse is true as well.
 
We went into the town centre for some shopping yesterday, and there was a fantastic new Polish deli open..some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. People in the UK have been complaining about the amount of Polish immigrants we have. I say, "we welcome our Polish brothers and their awesome cheesecake". Why do people hate good food that you would probably never get to try without immigration?

Oh, and the smoked sausage sandwich! :love:

As a former Marine, I can say that taking a life is like anything else, if you train properly you can be good at it. If you ever have to do it though, you better make sure you do it for the right reasons, because you will live with it forever.

Racism to me is reprehensible and is in the same category as homophobia. Discrimination in general is an egotistic load of shit. Who is anyone to say that anyone else is somehow less of a person because of x,y,z....

I've had many good friends of different colors, backgrounds, ethnicities, etc, friendships I treaure....it's a shame to think some people miss out on those relationships because of ignorance.
