Puppy Mojo Needed

Oh man!
I'll email this page to Julie and see if she has any thoughts.
Mojo!

Cooper sounds like a great dog. Mucho puppy mojo to him and to your family. I hope he recovers.

Mojo.

How old is he?

He's 8 1/2.

He's been really healthy up until the last month or so. Had regular annual checkups and shots an nothing has ever been out of the ordinary. In the last month he's lost a bunch of weight, been really listless and disoriented, and doesn't have an appetite at all.

One of the pills the vet gave us was to get rid of the fluid, the other was to treat the heart failure. The vet said that while not all dogs respond the same, many times the drug will restore them to their old self.

He also said the heart murmer was probably congenital, though nobody has ever heard it before, and he's had annual checkups every year.

He spent most of the night outside (it's cool outside, and that's his favorite thing in the world). This morning, his belly looks a little better, and he came inside and stood next to an empty food bowl. Ate a bowl of food like he was starving to death. Hopefully that's a good sign.

I'm going to go go with... yes. yes that is a good sign.

Thanks everybody. He's a good boy and I just want him to feel better. I appreciate all the love. :)

Great to hear he is showing signs of improvement. Thoughts and prayers for the Prages house. There is nothing like a good puppy.

yeah, I'd say it was from wolfing (pardon the pun) his food down.

maybe give him his food in smaller doses?

appetite is a good thing though
