I'm bringing my own bad self. That's it. I depend on everyone else bringing guitars, basses, amps, organ simulators, mushrooms, nuclear hot wings, pizza, beer.......

I can't remember, who was the last to leave? You, or me? I'm such a lingerer, since I'm only 3 hours away. OOh, that's right, you needed an airplane.
As much as I dreaded heading back to the old grind, and as much as I enjoyed our little decompression session with pra & ges, and the pups, I could see some weariness in our hosts (it was pretty mega-intense last year) and only now realize I could have offered to take you to the airport. I made it back home in splendid time.
So, despite having no clue where the airport is (Charleston?), if I can I'd like to take some of the shuttle duties off of p&g maybe.
 
Keep in mind that I have already volunteerd for parking lot patrol at the Crossfit place. Then again, I've not gone on a donut/beer/biscuit run. I did wash dishes, though.

The first year I went it was DD 2012. In 2013 it was me as DD did not attend.
 
DD is normally the last to leave. That's fine by us...he's pretty low maintenance other than wanting to run all the damned time.

Last year, I went back to work Tuesday morning, but only made it a few hours before taking the rest of the day off. This year, I've requested 1/2 day Thursday, all day Friday, all day Monday, and all day Tuesday. :embarrassed:

Hoping we can get the last of the guests out on Monday and then have Tuesday as a 'recovery' day.

So basically, my request is that you arrive no earlier than noon on Thursday, and depart by sun down on Monday.
 
Last year Boom Boom was first to arrive (even before I did). I think he got there around 3:30 on Thursday. I picked Dave up from the airport and got there around 4:embarrassed:0, IIRC.
 
I'm still going to invite Philly D, Jeff Hatch (Eagle shirt), Todd (Gear Whore), Chuck, Lino (who has been conspicuously absent from the board lately) and their significant others, and probably a few other locals, but I'm going to try to keep Stingray and his cronies at bay.

Well.....just who were the people who helped get me running again??

I always try to schedule my departing flight for afternoon/early evening on Monday so that there is a bit of recovery time on Monday. And I always take Tuesday off now since I generally need to day off and there is wiggle room if my flight is late of cancelled (like it was in 2012).
 
My past two visits had me leaving LA in the morning and getting into WV late Thursday afternoon. It is a 6-7 combined flight that covers a 9 hour period coast to coast time period. As for leaving, I usually leave Monday around midday and I get into LA at night. I never bother with the recovery time as the East Coast is always 3 hours ahead. When I get home, it is as if I had worked and had rehearsal so time resumes back to normal. Now coming from Hawaii back to LA is another story but I have managed to economize that as well.
 
Luigi passed out for most of Saturday last year, but he's actually a pretty good drummer. He just needs to keep the modular at home.
