THE PHEO FEKJIE
The Pheo Fekjie is made primarily with wood from great '50s and early '60s American guitars. Not only is it great wood, but it also has 50 years play-in time. The body is Honduras mahogany and eastern hard rock maple. The neck is Honduras mahogany, with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, 24 3/4 inch scale, 12 inch radius, slim contour. The neck pickup is from a '50s Fender lap steel, while the bridge pickup is from a vintage American peddle steel wound to a whopping 18k. Controls are a master tone, bridge and neck volumes, and a three way rotating switch for neck, bridge, or both. When both pickups are used they become hum canceling.
