Yeah......cool.

Somebody would pay that much for it........

Assuming it's real, of course........and for $90K, I'm gonna want to fly an exec from Gibson in to verify it, not my local guitar guy.

If that thing is actually real, I have to think it would be more than the 90k he paid, especially with the letters. Very cool episode.

...its not like it was Les Paul's or anything...it was Mary Fords...so 90K sounds justified to me...thats not a put down of Mary Ford, but she wasnt known for her guitarin...

That's true but she did know how to play. I think she intentionally downplayed here guitar ability. Maybe it was the times.

If the pawn guys were willing to throw down 90K, you know they intend to flip it to a collector or auction it for 150K or more. Probably another setup like with the '60's Les Paul that turned out a dud.
It sure was cool to see that Les Paul Custom SG up close though. There was still yellowed Scotch tape on the back from where she taped set lists. And some of the correspondence was about his endorsement deals with Gibson.

Actually, making $20K on that has to be a "dud sale" for them.

I mean, while it looks like a lot of profit, that % is really, really low.
