PA advice: powered speakers vs passive?

Aren't we getting a fresh truck each day this year so we won't run out?

That's OK, I'm trained to handle problems like this. As I see it we have several options:

1) After each truck is emptied, Baimun welds them together to make an even bigger stage.
2) We bring enough equipment for 2 backlines and face the trailers opening to each other. Then the battle of the bands ensues, each 'camp' trying to one-up the previous jam session.
3) We save the other trucks, sound proof them, and keep them as shelters for everybody to hide in when I get on the mic at 4a.m. after 14 beers and 2 whiskeys.
