sounds good oscar meyer! with teh pedalboard /pod, it's closer to an amp feel i think though which i like. tone quality wise, yours is just as good, but the feel thing is important to me

I normally hate being woken up by the mail lady making my dogs bark at 9 am on a Saturday. This time tho, she was dropping off my Lovepedal Provalve 2. She got lucky this time.

I basically have 4 channels of dirt now. I am running the Provalve 2 into a Les Lius. Channel 1 of the Les Lius is almost completely clean, just a slight hint of saturation, so that stays on pretty much always. Then channel 2 of the L.L. adds more dirt, and the the PV2 has two channels of higher gain dirt that I can add in or use separately. That very first channel on the LL should be at unity gain I take it and then I can stack from there according to how much of a volume/dirt boost I need.?

SOunds pretty flexible...I have everything in line but there is Keely Compressor>wah>Barber Direct Drive>BB Preamp>Throbak Stonebender fuzz>RC Booster.

The RC booster is supposed to be my boost pedal but half the time I just leave it on to make the amp sound a little more cranked than I can usually have it...
 
Yea, in fact sitting here dialing stuff in, that first channel of the Les Lius sounds better just a hair above unity to give the presence, and then I backed off the 2nd channel of it to just a slight slight dirt/volume increase, that way when I drop in the 1st channel of the PV2 where the real dirt is, it's plenty gainy/sustainy but not very noisy and quite smooth. I can even just leave both channels on fulltime on the LL that way and just back off the guitar volume for cleaner tones and still have plenty of rhythm volume since I've got it cracked just past unity anyway. THen I can unleash the fookin fury with the volume knob and the PV2.

I'm also experimenting with a delay pedal between the two for some EJ like tones before the signal hits my Space Echo on the way out. Cool way to fatten it up.

I got the idea from the May 2008 issue of GP re: that Cliffs of Dover tone. Basically it's a poor man's way to use multiple gain stages and make up for his stereo amp/delay settings in one chain to cop that vibe. I'm messing with it now and it's pretty cool. Especially having the Space Echo last in the chain the "normal" way
