OK...its been a few weeks...what is working and what isn't on the forum?

I've been slowly trying to catch the problems and add new stuff...anything still need fixing or can be improved?

Unlike the big forums I don't have a webdesign staff or a quality control department (actually I'm pretty sure some of those don't either :embarrassed:) so I'm a little out of my depth with some of this stuff and any feedback would be appreciated....

Thanks!

The Movie Discussion of the Day has not been posted daily as promised.

Also, Kerouac's beard is freaking me out.

I noticed there's a whole block of time (approx 40 days) worth of posts that vanished into thin air. Going back from 02/22 to somewhere in January, it's all gonzo...

Yeah, I was looking for one of my posts and it stooped (going backwards) at 02/22 and there was nothing again until 12/15 in my case ( although I was not posting for a couple of weeks from about that time until early January). I did the click user name and "show forum posts" thingy to discover this, but when I did a forum search, I got the same results...

Look at the bottom, and you'll see that after (before in this case0 02/22, there's a HUGE gap.

huh...I'll have to look into that when I get into the studio today....thats kind of messed up.

If you look at OGG's screen shot, you can see what I was also saying about thread titles not wrapping so you could read them all. The "So, you go to Sea World and sit down at the killer" thread is an example. Although, it's not a big deal.

There still isn't a link at the bottom of threads that will take you back to the threadlist page (the Forum, in this case).

And I dislike the new search function.

I don't like how the Quick Navigation works. I'd like to be able to click on it once or have a "Go" button right next to it so that I don't have to click, scroll to Lounge, and click Lounge just to get back to where I already was before I read/replied to the thread.

The search function blows...thats a promised fix in an upcoming update. I'm also going to try and re-index the search and see if that works...got stuck the other day when I trie.

I'll look inot the other in a bit/

I still lose my security tokens from time to time. :embarrassed:

not sure what to do about that one..anyone else have that problem?? DOes it happen to you at home or just work?

I don't like that either. Looking for a mod for it...

Hmm, that is not showing here via Safari 4.0.5. I will run updates (I think Safari has one waiting), and try firefox.

EDIT: No good in Firefox either, and it was just updated.

EDIT, EDIT, Safari is updated too. But this is on OS 10.4.11, Tiger running on my old lampshade iMac I still use at work.
