Is that a better StingRay than the ones they blew out at $249, $300, and $349? I think that the problem with the Sterling Stingrays is that EBMM tries to hit different price points, but if you aren’t serious about bass electronics and hardware then you don’t know which ones are usefully good and which ones are only good as a cheap mod platform to completely gut. And if you do know that stuff you probably bought a USA Stingray a long time ago. When I bought a Stingray it seemed great until I plugged it in and it was too hot for either of my amps, even with the volume down. The guy I sold it to had the same problem and he listed it for sale two days later. I guess that was one that’s just a mod platform? I don’t have time to deal with that shit, so no more import EBMM instruments for me.
