Observations on switching to an iPhone 5

I've been holding off until my phone REALLY needs an upgrade. I have an iPhone 4 and it still works just fine (if a bit slower).

At this point, having an Apple fanatic tell you about their new device is akin to having religous fanatics knocking on your door. I'm happy for ya'll, but let me stay happily in the 20th century, thank you very much. :embarrassed:

I picked one up last night. I actually started to write some serious observations but, well, see observation #1. :)

Truth is I only do about 3 or 4 things on a smartphone anyway. iPhone5 does those about as well as my old 3G Android... and for more money!

Samsung Galaxy III ftw :embarrassed:

or, in the spirit of Gary's post "My God is better than your god" etc etc :embarrassed:

However, my observations and experience in the (angels sing) Apple Store (/angels sing) will make for an epic thread later. Stay tuned.
