Achtung! nothing 2 c here

Ok, just take it easy and let the dust settle. Hopefully she was just freaked by being contacted by your wife (rightly so) and will get back to you one way o the other. Mojo.

Yep...probably this. In the meantime, I wouldn't try to contact her too many times if I were you. Don't want to come across as creepy/stalker-ish. Like many have said, including yourself, this was pretty sudden anyway...maybe even too soon...just give it some time. Plus, there's all those Obscure 80s groupies to be had.

she probably got freaked out thinking your current wife and you were trying to get her into a threeway

OGG: I find this thread kind of confusing, and worrisome at the same time. I hope you can get things worked out, one way or another...

I don't tend to give a lot of advice, and this is definitely not an area of expertise, but I think you should take a breath, slow down, and wait a bit before attempting to get into a serious relationship. You've just been through a whole lot of shit with your band, your family -- in essence, your life -- and I think it might be politic to take it easy before diving into any situation that might get to be messy and complex. Get your head straight, get your band situation straight, and then you'll probably be in a space where you won't seem desperate (contrary to popular opinion, women don't find desperation attractive...)

I'm certain that both my psychiatrist and psychologist will have a field day with this next Tuesday when I seen them both again. The psychobabble buzzwords will fill the air like pollen in March.
If you are getting psychobabble buzzwords, you have the wrong psychologist. If you are hearing things you don't want to hear, you may have the right one.

Good luck and best wishes.

OGG - PM me anytime. I'll even give you my number dude.

Going through this and taking it rather hard when I did, I learned so much regarding life, interacting with people, relationships and even the workplace.

As far as dating - I did the online thing - went through a bunch of drunks, nut cases, no ambition and plenty of non deserving "princess". I've learned lots on that aspect as well. First one out of the gate is difficult. So is the second. I was 22 year with the same person and having conversations with other women proved difficult and challenging at first. The guilty feeling, the unknown feeling. I was so worried about being alone I ran out as soon as I could just to meet people. That was a mistake as I should have calmed my nerves down a bit more. The other word of advice is this: GET OFF FACEBOOK! Delete your account. You will live without it. It's an electronic war-zone of backstabbing, people saying shit, ability to send private messages and I guarantee you will make you depressed. Depressed for stupid reason, looking at things and not feeling part of it, other people posting party pictures and not being invited. Just get the hell off it. You wont miss it.

PM me anytime.

Thank goodness I did not have to wade into the cesspool of online dating. Probably the best thing I did for myslef, along with some counseling, was to take a period of time with no relationships at all. Probably not enough time actually, but not complaining about my current relationship at all.

OGG - the main thing is take it slow and take the time to get yourself healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally. You are way younger than me so no hurry on the relationship front - that will come. Get stronger, get rested. Love life each and every day. Keep your kids a very high priority.

You got this.
